A mission?

Well this doesn't happen often, but I've decided to give myself a goal.

I'm not going to post any pictures because
-My camera is in my purse
-I haven't taken many pictures lately
-I'm too lazy to go and get the camera from my purse

Pictures really have nothing to do with the main point of this post though.

By the end of the year I will be able to say that i have seen every movie on this list. I am going to re-watch the ones that I previously viewed when I was too young to understand, so that way it's all fair.  If you want to do this with me let me know :)

That sounds like a pretty complete film education. Before or after watching, it would be interesting to partake in a film discussion group on the net to enrich the experience. There are quite a few I haven't seen. Are these in any particular order? Good luck!

You know we are big movie buffs. When you come home we can knock a few off the list. When we go to SA we knock off a few more How and why did these make the list? You do know we have an annual Godfather viewing complete with Clemenza's sauce and Q&A sessions, right?!

The list was made by the American Film Institute and all of their judges but I have no idea what the criteria was for making the list other than it being an American made movie. And I had no idea about the annual Godfather viewing wtf >.<

I'm thinking about doing the occasional blog about the movies as I work my way down the list, or maybe I can start a completely separate page for movie discussion? And I think the 1-100 order may be saying that Citizen Kane is the greatest American film thus far
